Here are the scenarios where charges apply for message sending!
Scenario 1: Sending a message to a new contact.
When reaching out to a new contact, only template messages can be shared. Different charges apply to utility, marketing, and authentication templates. The incurred cost is based on the template type sent to the customer.
Scenario 2: Sending multiple template messages(same category) within 24 hours to the customer.
Once you've initiated the conversation by sending a template message to the customer, you can subsequently send any number of template messages to that customer free of charge for the next 24 hours.
[Note: Upon sending a marketing category template message, charges for utility or authentication messages will be applicable for both. Only messages within the same category as the initial template are exempted from charges for 24 hours.]
Scenario 3: Customer responds to your template message within 24 hours.
Upon initiating a conversation with a template message and receiving a customer reply, you have the option to continue with a regular chat. Service messages during this period will also be complimentary(Free) for the next 24 hours.
Scenario 4: New message after 24 hours.
If you receive a customer reply after 24 hours from your initial template message and respond with a regular text message (service message), charges will apply for the service messaging at that instance.
Similarly, after 24 hours, sending another template message, whether or not a reply is received, will incur charges for that template as well
[Note: Service message charges are deducted only once daily.]
